On National Intern Day, we wanted to take the time to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our rockstar summer interns. Our Company developed an internship program years ago so students could gain practical training, hands-on practice, and some additional working-world experience within the Construction industry. We love mentoring our fellow interns and with full participation in this 12-week program, we feel and hope it helps set these individuals up for a successful career path after graduation.
Without further ado, please meet our 2020 summer interns!

- Why did you choose Precision Walls, Inc. for your summer internship? This is my second internship with Precision Walls. It felt like family the first time I was an intern so I decided it would be the perfect fit for the last internship I do.
- What has been your favorite part about interning at PWI this summer? I have loved learning about the estimating software and how to estimate a job.
- What have you learned from your internship thus far? I’ve learned a lot this summer thanks to the Senior Project Manager I was placed with. He taught me a lot about cost and how to do take offs with OST on a job and then how to set up a job within PWI’s software/database. I have also learned how to communicate with team members in the field.

Why did you choose PWI for your summer internship? I chose PWI because I knew I would gain a great amount of experience and knowledge from everyone I worked with over the summer relating to my future in finance. I also felt very welcomed and comfortable as soon as I began interviewing with PWI, which speaks volumes to the culture that PWI has.
What has been your favorite part about interning at PWI this summer? My favorite part has been being able to help PWI firsthand on real problems. Working to find solutions to actual problems is a great way to learn, and it also provides a great sense of accomplishment when the problem is solved.
What have you learned from your internship thus far? I have learned a great amount from my internship with PWI thus far, but to narrow it down, I would go with; always keep your work and data organized, and to first try yourself, but don’t be afraid to ask for help.
